The Sri Lanka School of Prosthetics and Orthotics. is recruiting:

• Deputy Director
• P/O Clinician
• P/O Lecturer

The Sri Lanka School of Prosthetics and Orthotics was established in 2004 and is based in Ragama, on the outskirts of Colombo , Sri Lanka . The project is facilitated by The Cambodia Trust., a UK based Charity. A new Custom built building will house the SLSPO in early 2008.

SLSPO is working within the guidelines of ISPO Category II Training and will be seeking accreditation. It recruits 15 students each year for the three year course

The Deputy Director will take charge of the Clinic where 3 rd year students undertake their internship. Requirements;

• Degree level qualification in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
• Extensive experience in both teaching and Clinical Practice
• Experience in low income countries working within different cultures.
• Previous management experience

For both P/O posts

• Degree level qualification in Prosthetics and Orthotics
• teaching experience
• experience in low income countries is desirable
