US-ISPO sets date and location for 2008 Pacific Rim Conference

The United States National Member Society has for many years planned the Pac Rim conference. After the 12th (in 2006), the organisers agreed not to run the meeting again.

However, the US-ISPO felt that this would be a loss of many opportunities including a chance for Pacific Rim nations to collaborate. The conference has also been a pivotal forum to disseminate information regarding issues specific to Low Income nations, especially those in the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America.

The 2008 Pac Rim conference will be at the Sheraton Maui, January 27 - 31st, 2008
