Activities in Fiji to date include:

Assisting the Fiji Ministry of Health prepare a planning document for the development of prosthetic and orthotic service for their country. This resulted in Fiji99, a four-day seminar with participants from Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Kiribati and Central Australia. The seminar covered a range of topics including perspectives from each country, diabetic foot management, policy issues, group workshops, and a clinical demonstration.
