Dear ISPO Australia Members and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Executive Committee, I invite you to join us for the upcoming AGM, to be held 6:15 pm AEST on Thursday 28th May 2020. Planning the AGM has now shifted to a teleconference event only, as we all undertake social isolation directives in our respective States and Territories and jurisdictions, in response to Covid-19 pandemic.

AGM Meeting 2020 Dial in Details:

Dial in: 1800 151 624

Participant: 296 505 532 #

Whilst we all embark on different communication and meeting modalities for daily business and acknowledge we are unlikely to conduct face to face meetings for 2020, we call on members who may have time and capacity to join our Executive Committee as we undertake the task of planning and preparation for services and regions that will undoubtedly need ISPO assistance in coming months and years ahead.

How do we support our Pacific regions during and after local shutdowns?

How do we support education delivery to our end-users of O&P equipment?

Is there targeted research opportunities to enhance the lives of O&P users?

Every member has the opportunity to make a difference to the landscape of Prosthetic and Orthotic service enhancement, and this may be the platform you have been looking for. Opportunities exist for previous committee members, and those of you considering making the next step in ISPO contributions, with Executive positions available as Hon Secretary and Chair Membership & Marketing Committee and support roles on Science and Research, Education, Membership and Marketing and Outreach committees. For further information on the Executive and Sub-committee roles, you can contact president@ispo.org.au

For members who are unable to dial in for the formal meeting, be sure to provide your proxy vote to a participating member. Remember, you must be a financial member to participate and vote at the AGM so please renew for 2020 if you have not already done so.

We look forward to meeting you ‘virtually’ as we connect by phone on the 28th of May.

Yours sincerely

Sally Cavenett

President ANMS ISPO
